Probate Litigation in Morris and Sussex Counties

Executors, trustees, beneficiaries and families often need clear guidance after a death. Hardesty Law Group, P.C. handles New Jersey probate and trust administration, will contests, fiduciary disputes, beneficiary claims and related litigation, with close attention to tax filings, fiduciary duties and practical next steps.

When Legal Guidance Helps

Probate administration often includes admitting a will, identifying and valuing assets, notifying creditors, resolving claims, preparing tax filings and distributing property.

In a contested matter, counsel addresses will challenges, undue influence, lack of capacity, executor or trustee removal, fiduciary accountings, disputed distributions and beneficiary rights. Early review of the governing documents, account titles, beneficiary designations and business interests clarifies deadlines and preserves options.

Initial consultations are 60 minutes and require a $650 payment to confirm. The fee is non-refundable and the appointment is reschedulable, subject to availability. If the firm is engaged, the $650 is credited toward attorney time actually expended at applicable hourly rates. Representation begins only after completion of an existing-client conflict check and execution of a written engagement agreement.
